Did you know … microlearning is more engaging and effective than longer learning moments?
Blog / News | 28-02-23
Microlearning is an approach that divides learning content into bite-size modules of around 5-10 minutes, providing short, very focused and easy learning moments.
Short learning chunks make it easier to learn at regular intervals. Quick and repetitive learning moments are more effective and engaging than having long learning sessions every so often. Moreover, it makes it very suitable for mobile learning.
This approach perfectly fits the needs and behaviors of today’s busy people and short attention spans. Therefore, it’s best to keep drills short and to the point.
Fun fact: according to a study by Microsoft, our human attention span is 8 seconds. That is one second less than that of a goldfish (9 seconds). So, again: keep learning modules short and manageable to optimize the learning effect!
