Klaas Toes, our first customer and one of the founders ofGooiconsult, was involved with Drillster from the very beginning. When Binck Bank issued a tender for shortening management training in 2011, Gooiconsult made the difference by reducing the number of training days needed from five to three. Drillster played an important role in that approach.
Justin Wilkes is the whizz kid here in the Drillster gang. Since 2018, Justin has been rolling into work on his mini skateboard to do his internship…. or to work…. or to freelance. On October first 2011, Thomas Goossens and Marco van Sterkenburg embarked on the Drillster journey together. And what a journey it has been. We learned a lot, met many inspiring people, developed continuously, and became stronger. They started with the two of them, and now we share a big office space in Utrecht with many talented colleagues from all over the world.
When Drillster saw the light of day in 2011, Robert Weaver was the first to invest in the company. Marco, Thomas and Robert had a shared history at Bibit, a payment services provider. When Bibit was acquired by The Royal Bank of Scotland, the Drillster story as we know it today began.
