The adaptive, question-based learning application Drillster is widely used for embedding business knowledge, but it works very well in the education sector too. Teachers can design their own drills for their particular subject, enabling them to teach students remotely, monitor progress, and discover gaps in their student's knowledge, and immediately address them. However, there are certain negative preconceptions concerning adaptive, question-based learning. What do teachers and others in the education sector need to know about Drillster? Below, we briefly explain the adaptive learning methodology and the use (and inefficacy) of testing.

Last week we celebrated having officially achieved the ISO 27001 certification. This certification describes how companies deal with their information security processes. This to ensure confidentiality, accessibility, and integrity of that information. For example, it concerns the protection of privacy and company data, prevention of unauthorized access to or use of certain information, or a breach.

Since Nouvelles Donnes, a management consulting company, uses Drillster, Léni was familiar with the adaptive learning app. One thing led to another, and now Drillster is available free of charge to all The Shift Project members to develop and anchor crucial knowledge. We talked to Léni about the project.
