Performance Journey Goes Dutch (opens in new tab) is back! The event—organised by our partner Xprtise (opens in new tab)—is packed with inspiration, fresh insights, and networking opportunities. The keynote line-up features David James (host of ‘The Learning & Development Podcast’) alongside experts such as Bob Mosher, Donald Clark, Pieter van den Hoogenband, and Katelijn Nijsmans. Join us on 5 and 6 June 2024 at the remarkable venue “De Heerlickheijd van Ermelo”. Drillster will of course be there with a booth and two joint sessions with railAlert (opens in new tab).
We'll walk through your specific challenges and show you how training can actually stick year-round.
railAlert manages certification for everyone who works on and around the Dutch rail network. That covers more than 30,000 professionals across roughly 1,000 organisations (including ProRail, BAM, Strukton, GVB, VolkerWessels, and HTM).
Delivering work safely demands specific competencies. Guiding a community of 30,000 colleagues spread across so many organisations is a significant challenge. Previously, every employee attended in-person training and took an exam once every two years. It was time-consuming and stressful. Frequency was the main pain point: knowledge was refreshed right after the exam, only to fade within weeks. A different approach was needed.
That is why the railAlert Foundation adopted Drillster, enabling continuous adaptive learning. The goal is to build and retain the competencies employees need to work safely on and around the tracks, reducing the likelihood of incidents. Efficient, effective, and safe.
