Last week we celebrated having officially achieved the ISO 27001 certification. This certification describes how companies deal with their information security processes. This to ensure confidentiality, accessibility, and integrity of that information. For example, it concerns the protection of privacy and company data, prevention of unauthorized access to or use of certain information, or a breach. 

All of the security processes Drillster uses have been thoroughly screened and tested as part of the ISO certification process. We have received several compliments on how well we organize and execute our information security processes. Of course, we were proud to hear that!

At Drillster we have always paid lots of attention to our information security processes. And it’s evident that we operate in accordance with strict security rules and requirements. Also, our suppliers, like our hosting providers, are in possession of the required security certifications and work accordingly. Therefore it was a natural step for us to go and achieve the ISO 27001 certification. With a positive result: we can now add the ISO 27001 Certificate to our wall of fame!

And as we know best: knowledge declines if it is not maintained. So all Drillster employees keep their knowledge and awareness of information security processes and functioning, up-to-date with our own Drillster app. Of course, we keep a keen eye on new law and legislation, rules and regulations and technology concerning information security. Because keeping and processing your information safe and secure is our continuous concern.
